PopPool doubles in Size for First Year Online

POPPOOL.COM

Welcome to PopPool.com in it's first year as an online site for Reality TV games. PopPool.com is the only reality TV gaming and community site of it's kind on the net. PopPool got it's start by hosting a very popular "pool style" competition for the Fox TV hit American Idol. At PopPool.com players compete to guess the order that they think the American Idol contestants will be eliminated.

There are three parts to the PopPool game, the first part is done when there are 12 contestants remaining and players try to guess up-front the order that they think the contestants will be eliminated. The second part of the game is a weekly game whereby players guess each week which contestant will be eliminated. The third part of the game is done halfway through the last 12 weeks when 6 contestants remain and the players guess again which of the remaining 6 will be the final winner. The scores are tabulated and reported at the website.

Though this year is just a prototype site and is not being used to to handle the entries (which are currently done via e-mail), players can see their scores compared to their friends and blog about the show on a regular basis.

Future plans for the site are to host similar games for other unscripted dramas such as Survivor, Amazing Race, The Apprentice, The Bachelor, Dancing with the Stars, On The Lot, and other virtually any other reality TV show that comes along.
